Hoy se cumplen dos años del feminicidio de Lesvy Berlín Rivera Osorio en Ciudad Universitaria. Desde entonces se han sumado varios feminicidios en las instalaciones de la máxima casa de estudios. ¿Qué implica esto para las mujeres universitarias?
Después del feminicidio de Aideé Mendoza Jerónimo, este lunes 29 de abril en el CCH Oriente, tenemos claro algo: la lucha de las feministas por ingresar a la universidad no ha sido superada. Si bien, ahora contamos con el “derecho” de acceder a los espacios de estudio, nuestras vidas no están a salvo.
En México, el 50% de la población debe considerar los riesgos a la seguridad al salir a estudiar. El acceso de la mujer a la educación sigue siendo un tema económico y político.
Consecuencias en la vida cotidiana
Seguimos siendo recluidas a las tareas de cuidado y limpieza. Si antes sufrimos un estigma social por ir a estudiar y trabajar, ahora las violencias sociales nos amenazan con no regresar si lo intentamos.
Acto despiadado si se tiene en cuenta todas las desapariciones, homicidios y feminicidios que denuncia el colectivo Nos Hacen Falta desde hace años.
Sistemáticamente las autoridades universitarias han negado el dolor de los familiares y amigos así como devaluar la vida de las víctimas.
Por supuesto, lo que sucede dentro de los espacios universitarios es sólo reflejo de lo que sucede a nivel nacional, sin embargo, existen diversas medidas que podrían implementarse en lo inmediato pero que las autoridades deciden pasar por alto.
Desde la institución no ha existido ninguna propuesta, y la única herramienta que tiene la comunidad universitaria a la mano es un fallido protocolo para la atención de casos de violencia de género.
Los estudiantes como ejemplo
A nivel estudiantil, las reacciones ante los feminicidios han sido mucho más dignas y admirables, las alumnas promueven las denuncias en plataformas digitales, las escuelas realizan paros como respuesta inmediata ante cada coyuntura, imparten talleres y fundan colectivos cada vez más estructurados que buscan formas de confrontar y resistir las violencias estructurales.
Algunos profesores también han tenido procesos de organización bastante interesantes. En la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras se realizan semestralmente las jornadas Refléctere, un esfuerzo admirable en el que durante una semana todos los profesores participantes integran en sus clases temas sobre las problemáticas nacionales.
Estos son simples ejemplos de acciones que la institución podría emprender en lo inmediato y que fortalecerían el acompañamiento y la organización dentro y fuera de las aulas.
¿Cómo detener los feminicidios?
Faltan talleres sobre educación sexual porque muchos postdoctorados siguen sin entender qué es el consentimiento; talleres de prevención de violencia de género y abuso de poder, para que los profesores no sientan que sus alumnas les deben favores sexuales; y discusiones sobre las violencias en el aula para que los alumnos recuerden sus años de estudio con cariño y no con desprecio.
Esto no regresará a las víctimas a sus casas ni con sus familias, pero tal vez asegure que las que sobreviven lo hagan.
Por lo pronto, hoy honramos la memoria de Lesvy y de todas las mujeres que no lograron cumplir el sueño de estudiar.
